Family. At Pierpoint the full recovery of families has been central to our work with clients over the last 21 years. When someone comes into treatment with us our goal is not just long term recovery of the individual it is to enable the family as a whole to start the journey of repairing the damage that the illness of addiction causes. We do this by involving family members in the client’s journey without breaching their confidentiality. This may include; telephone contact with our treatment team, family conferences and all families are encouraged and invited to make use of our family group program which operates alongside our scheduled visiting.
Family
Another factor that makes us one of the leading family recovery centres in the UK is the inclusion of a children and families coordinator on our team. Their role is to work with children and teenagers supporting them during their parents treatment. If there are any issues around access and custody of children in the family, the coordinator is able to support the client and family through any involvement of social services or the courts.
We know how hard it is
Sadly we see this all the time in this industry. The struggle from partners, wives, kids etc. and that is why we offer the help we do. You should not have to suffer as well. And working together, we can sort these issues out much quicker, and with greater success. It the client has a great support network, then half the job is done. Talk to us about moving forward.
