Pierpoint graduate gives evidence to home affairs committee

 

On Tuesday 21st February 2012, a graduate of Pierpoint House drug rehabilitation programme, gave evidence at the House of Commons to the Home Affairs Select Committee Inquiry into drugs in the UK, which was chaired by Keith Vaz MP.

Dominic Ruffy is the National Chair of Rehab Grads, a rapidly expanding voluntary organisation of people who have benefited from residential rehabilitation treatment for substance misuse. On their behalf, Dominic was answering questions relating to the use of residential rehabilitation within the treatment strategy delivered by the NTA, Department of Health and Home Office.
